My Frailty

 

Leave me not in darkness redeem my frailty

My only hope is that your light displace the dark in me

I am changed into your image, but to the degree

That my heart can perceive you, bring forth divinity

Proclaim your truth, dislodge the lies

Display your love, cast out all fears

Let joy divine flood over my sorrows, Thou counter of my tears

Let my soul find respite in my Father’s warm embrace

I’ve failed to heal myself O’ Lord, save me now by Grace
